What is the “View Credit Data” Toggle?

The View Credit Data toggle gives Company Admins control over which users in the AVA Portal can access sensitive credit information—such as credit scores, reports, and full profiles.

This allows dealerships to safely expand portal access to sales reps, BDC agents, and other team members while keeping financial data private and secure.


What’s Hidden When It’s Turned OFF?

When the credit toggle is disabled for a user, they’ll still be able to manage leads—just without viewing credit-related details.

All other AVA functionality remains fully available.


Who Can Manage This Setting?

Only Company Admins can enable or disable credit data access for users.

If you’re a member, please reach out to your admin to request access changes.


How to Use the Toggle

1. Log into your AVA Portal

2. Go to Settings > Users

3. Select an existing user or click + Add User

4. In the user profile, find the “View Credit Data” toggle

5. Set it to Enabled or Disabled

6. Click Save—the update takes effect immediately


Example Scenarios

Junior Sales Rep

• Credit access is disabled

• Can view and contact leads without seeing private credit data

Finance Manager

• Credit access is enabled

• Can view full reports to qualify and approve financing
